DVR are available with an option for 4/8/16/24 Channels for Video & Audio Inputs and single Output, though for any IP solution Network Video Recorder -NVR are used.
Nowadays DVR have built in support for Remote Viewing through IE browser using Static IP or support DDNS. Other electronic surveillance system or home security system/home surveillance system may use other accessories like lenses for using variable focal length & zoom, switchers, brackets etc. some special purpose cameras are available for special requirements including hidden camera, pin hole camera, mirror camera.
