At night when IR LED are on the video are monochromatic i.e. B/w and not colored though camera can be colored. IP cameras are the networked cameras used in Enterprises where CCTV can be integrated with LAN Server using NVR (Network Video Recorders). IP Cameras can be wired or wireless using Wi-Fi Connection or 3G network for communication. For Retaining and Storage of Data, DVR – Digital Video Recorders are used with analogy cameras. DVR are available with an option for 4/8/16/24 Channels for Video & Audio Inputs and single Output, though for any IP solution Network Video Recorder -NVR are used.

Nowadays DVR have built in support for Remote Viewing through IE browser using Static IP or support DDNS. Other electronic surveillance system or home security system/home surveillance system may use other accessories like lenses for using variable focal length & zoom, switchers, brackets etc. some special purpose cameras are available for special requirements including hidden camera, pin hole camera, mirror camera.
